The truth is within your own heart and your own soul. When you become lonely and afraid, all the answers you will ever need will be found within yourself. Do not look so frantically out into the world for the answers to your questions. Look within, and ask yourself, "Am I being faithful to my own truth?" Losing that faith is the only real sin against the Goddess Mother. We forget who we are in this world of illusion. And it is the one thing that we must forgive and cure. The Old One will survive in all of her women.

I agree the truth is within. It seems to be built into our DNA. The problem is deciphering the truth. The truth is not what we wish it to be, though. Therein lays a problem. We live in the physical world. We wish physical comforts at the expense of our spiritual journey. Or we put our ego or self esteem and tie it with physical possessions. It is easy to be fooled by the physical comforts of the world. The trick to staying on the middle path is many fold. (1). If we have any negative emotion, there is an internal disturbance. Our perceptions are distorted. Therefore, our actions and speech are likely to be distorted. This is the time of reflection. (2). Are my actions compassionate, understanding, and full of empathy? Are my actions reasonable? Or am I overcome with emotion? If the answers are in the affirmative, then a correct decision can be made and one can continue on the middle path. This is only one lesson to staying on the middle path.

For me the truth is outside , not within.Something we have to reach. Something I want see outside.Something I -only- want to see looking outside. I 'd say the true is within.

We live in the physical world this is true. As such there are scientific facts of reality in which to discover, external truths. I believe in balance. The proportion to day to night is roughly equal. Such is how I view our dichotomy of spirit and body. I will go along, agreeing what is true is inside, as you say. However, you say truth is external. I believe at most that this is only half true. I believe that we have a rich internal reality of truth. It could be semantics and I can agreeably disagree, that all truth is only external. I believe our emotional feeling can alert us to felt truth.

Truth is a snow flake Or harsh words with a friend Truth is a babys first breath Or a machine gun nest!
Truth is a lie sometimes some kind of regret Truth is some thing We are'nt sure of yet
Truth is the sunshine And a long dark night Truth is sheer terror and a sheer delight
Truth is the magic Or the crest of a wave The sad call of meloncholly The brave call of war
Truth is nothing Nothing and all and we go to it like soldiers Or it comes to us like a sword
By Me. First draft.
