I believe in peace, for myself, If not the world!
My zodiac is cancer. My Chinese zodiac is a rabbit. In one of the Native American zodiacs I am a woodpecker.
I admire Buddha, Jesus, Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., and anyone who expounds peace, environmental issues, Children’s rights and animal rights. I believe to try the best of my abilities, not to think, speak, or act negatively.
Obviously I am human and can get “triggered". I am for the PREVENTION of crime, mental illness, substance abuse and other societal ills. At work and school people would describe me as positive, friendly, energetic, and as a caring intuitive feeling "good listener" I believe that there can be prevention and intervention in the school systems. Each year every child could get a caring, compassionate, and professional psychological evaluation! This way we could get a handle on verbal, physical, and sexual ABUSE. Children can be almost ANYTHING, if we but give them a CHANCE! How can we be so? short sighted about preventing abuse! It goes on everywhere, now, and we are reactive, not PROACTIVE.
I am very PASSIONATE about this issue am a student of and an amateur psychologist, theologian, philosopher, sociologist, educator, animal rights activist, children's rights, and humanist. I believe since we are Interrelated beings that we affect each other and so need to learn how to interact more efficiently, effectively, and rationally. I do not know why the world is so messed up.
I think it is that we are all blind or at the very least have limited perceptions of reality. Because we apparently have both feelers and thinkers and idealists and realists, there must be a biological reason that we have not ascertained yet. I am a proponent of non negative energy philosophy to the best of my ability. We are chemical and energy beings therefore we do affect each other with both positive and negative energy.
Because of the above reasons we need prevention and intervention along with child parenting classes in childhood development. We also need to communicate in two fundamental areas: cognitive science, learning to speak, think, and write without distortions in reason & logic as well as emotional Intelligence. I know that some will gravitate toward one or the other but we are interrelated. I am a fan of Myers Briggs, and feel it should be administered at a young age to determine the best learning styles for children.
I am a fan of the Montessori and Waldorf school systems and philosophy. I am for a paradigm shift in consciousness for society. I’m a go with the flow type of person & I try to be much more accepting.
I don't prescribe to any one religion, philosophy, or creed. I try to be Taoist in knowing one cannot "CONTROL" reality. If however one has the tools, one can better "steer" one's life much more happily and effectively. I am still trying to learn how to "steer the boat of life".
As an INFP live to learn and grow. I am searching for self actualization and happiness on this earth. Both for myself and others! I was an avid reader from a young age of history. From there I moved on to psychology, philosophy, & world religions. I was searching for knowledge, wisdom, happiness, & truth & peace. I also as an INFP "dreamer" loved comics, science fiction & fantasy. I wanted to dream of a world that was better. I wanted to dream of us humans having "superior powers" due to self actualization and thus reaching our true potential. With this potential, to make this a better world. We would have, and still can, evolve. Evolve to our potential after we dissociate ourselves from illusions, distractions, and distortions. I am obviously an introvert, needing my quiet time and space. I am very intuitive and aligned with other people's feelings and emotions. I can get in the other person's universe. Our conversations thus flow and at times are quite seamless. LightSun
