There are a lot of stories out there vying for our agreement. This one looks like the writer is putting out feelers for a new novel or just trying to make sense of it all using their idiosyncratic rationality. Humans do seem to be kept in the dark, but there seems to be no lack of "supernatural" interference. Ask yourself: when was the last time an angel erased your memory of a supernatural encounter? The mention of Santa Claus sinks it for certain, I think.

So its definitely in the realm of fantasy. Ok he does have a disclaimer on the site, claiming that all of it is fantasy, I guess I like the idea of a supernatural secrecy pact. In the realm of sorcery do they even believe in angels?

oh yeah, i went into lucid dreaming to get to a reasonable purpose .... how the heck did i arrive at a hippocratic oath in the midst of sorcerers? employing fantasy, lots of it, that's how santa would look in a legendary / mythical hayday .....
